Had a fantastic Aidilfitri. Nine whole days of not thinking about work. Seronok, uolsz! Ate lotsa of lemang, ketupat, rendang, tapai, laksa, and all that you can eat under sun and that you can find during Eid festivities. Terkezut badak perut lepas sebulan berpuasa.
Went back to work last Monday. Everything was fine. Went to work as usual. Woke early. Wasn't late to work. It was a good start to the first day back at work after all the melantak. It was a very good Monday.
Then on Tuesday morn, I woke up with a fever. Called my colleague at work saying that I won't be coming in to work and haiiiyyyaaa... Suara sudah hilang, beb. Rasa punggas sangat suara masa tuh... Tak larajjj... Suara keluar ala-ala romantis bisikan jer. Tapi dengan intonasi punggas. Camne tuh? Romantika d'amour ka? Hoh!!! Tak kose...
Timing pun tak chantek. Had the BJ46 launch in FFKBT last night. With no voice to help me, the class was left to Waterlily and Kekasih Separuh Masa (gelaran baru buat beliau). Luckily Kekasih Separuh Masa ada. If not, sakitlar Waterlily buat class sorang-sorang. Macam nak nangis dah minah tu when first I arrived, followed closely by Kekasih Separuh Masa. Because she was so happy to see us. Hehehe... Sorry dear, tersesat jalan. Pastu keluar kat jalan yang jam tahap kebaboom. Nasib tak lambat sangat.
The night before, Kekasih Separuh Masa was also our saviour. We had the BJ46 mini launch in FFMS. Waterlily was not feeling well. I thought I could handle it on my own, but I overestimated myself. Barely halfway through the class, me sudah pancit tahap maximum. If Kekasih Separuh Masa hadn't been around, pengsanlar Waterlily and I. Huhuhu... Nasib Waterlily asked him to come and help us out.
Thank you, dear. You are our hero. Muahszzz!!! =D
Tonight, we have another mini launch in FFTC. Ini semua kena hasutan HT lar nie... Huhuhu... Takpe, anything for you, babe. You know I love you so much sampai hilang suara Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii... Hehehe...
I know Kekasih Separuh Masa is hoping that my voice will be better today. Because yesterday in FFKBT, you could see that he was kinda tired as compared to the mini launch in FFMS. In FFMS, he was so superb. At times I was so amazed, impressed and proud to see how good he's become, tiba-tiba cam rasa terharu sangat. Entah apasal, tak tahu. Overrr... Tak larajjj... Hehehe...
So, last night, he gave me a whole pack of lozenges to help the sore throat. And today, the throat is much, much better than it was yesterday. Tapi suara masih lagi cam ala-ala punggas. Batuk sket-sket but the fever's completely gone. And I'm back to my normal chirpy self. I think.
Hopefully tonight, my voice won't fail me.
