Another movie with the pack last night. Yeay!! They told me it's a low-budget movie. But if Ethan Hawke's in it, I don't think it could be all that too low-budget.
The yummy Mr Hawke aka the human-loving-vampire Edward Dalton.
This is Edward Dalton's vampire brother Fankie Dalton. He's a New Zealand born actor. Real name Michael Dorman. He's a feast for sore eyes. Sangat good looking, hokay. With blue eyes some more.
There were a few squeamish, blood-spilling cutting and slashing limbs scenes. There was some nudity too, which was not censored by the Malaysian Censorship Board. Surprise, surprise!
Storyline so-so. Predictable. Well, almost predictable as the story progressed. It's about the year 2019 where a plague has transformed almost all human species into vampires. The remaining humans are now harvested for blood. Edward Dalton is supposed to find or create an alternative source of blood supply for vampires but instead he prefers to find a cure for vampires so as to save humankind. He manages to find a cure with the help of some humans. But as you can guess, not all vampires want to find a cure.
If it weren't for Ethan Hawke and Michael Dorman and the action scenes, I would give this a pass.

i gotta agree with you that mike dalton is super hawt. mcm tak tgk ethan hawke sekejap, huhu..
tapi kan, willem dafoe steal the show lah, walaupun wataknye bukan la watak utama. elvis is so witty, dialogue dia byk yg lawak! :D
Hahaha.. Terlupa plak kat Willem Dafoe. Dah nampak si Dorman yang hensem tu, lupa terus kat watak Elvis.
Yes, Dafoe's character was very witty and kelakar. But then, when has Willem Dafoe never been brilliant in any of his portrayals? ;-)
