Some Men Can Look Really Hot in Skirts

Like this guy. Damn, he's hot.

And I caught him in this movie last night. Wearing a gunny sack throughout the whole story, in case you didn't know. And yet he was still able to look hot. Some guys are just fire. Put them in a bikini and they'd still look delicious. Maybe perhaps not, I think. Hahaha..

A little bit scruffy looking here, but still hot, okay.

However, I gotta tell you, someone else stole the show for me. I am truly sorry for saying this: Sam, baby, you're damn hot. And I love you. But this hunk was damn hotter than you, man.

Draco. Damn hot, I tell you. (Okay, HOT is going to be my favourite word in this post.) I was swooning and delirious the whole time he was on screen. Sam, babe, I'm so sorry, but when Mads stood in the same scene as you, I had eyes only for him.

Hot, hot stuff. HOT. *pengsan*

Mads Mikkelsen. A very well known Danish actor. Well, maybe not so well known for some of us, but very well known in his homeland, Denmark.

It's not so much about his looks. It's all about the way he carries himself in this movie. So JANTAN. You know? Macho. Hensem in a macho kinda way. Hot. Manly. Macho. You know. All right, I'm not making sense. I just think Draco is damn hot. Full stop.

Perhaps you will remember him better as the villain in Casino Royale.

Le Chiffre. Well, not so hot looking here as in Clash of the Titans.

I think I like him better when he looks a tad more scraggy. Yeah, I know. I have weird taste in men.

There were a few other actors who caught my eye. The guy who played Ixas, Hans Matheson. I think he was hot too. And the babe, she was damn hot also. Io, the woman who refused a god and was cursed with everlasting youth. She was played by Gemma Arterton. I wouldn't mind looking like her. A bit on the pale side, but still hot. And Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes. Great actors. It's amazing how they could make these two actors look so much alike to strongly portray the family ties between their characters.

Then there was Pegasus, the flying horse. If there ever was a creature like that, it would be tremendous to look at.

And how can I leave out Charon? The boatman of the River Styx who ferried Perseus, Draco and the other warriors across to Medusa's lair. Very, VERY interesting character. But most shortlived (in the movie), I'm sorry to say.

The movie? Well, before I went to see the movie, I heard quite a few unfavourable reviews about it. Many compared it to the 1981 version. I haven't seen that one, so I can't make any comparisons. But despite the not-so-good reviews, I still wanted to see this one. I think you can understand why. ;-)

I enjoyed the 2010 version very much. Maybe the plot could have been stronger. It felt a bit too compressed, like they could have lengthened the storyline a bit. But overall, not bad at all. A bit too mainstream, perhaps. There were quite a few characters that were interesting but were not expanded upon. Which was a pity really. Greek mythology can be very interesting. Oh well, I guess you can't allow for much in a 95-minute movie.

But I liked it. But then, I'm a sucker for movies with hot, macho men (in skirts) and lotsa fighting scenes. And, of course, there's Mads and Sam. It's the thumbs up for me.
