Scenario 1:
Miss A asks Miss Y to remind Miss X about a meeting. Miss Y sees Miss X and goes up to her.
Miss Y: Miss X, Miss A asked me to remind you about the meeting you have to attend this morning.
Miss X: I know, I know. *walks past Miss Y without even looking at Miss Y*
Miss Y: *stupefied*
Scenario 2:
Miss B and Mr C are alone in a room talking about work. Miss X comes in. Miss B and Mr C stop talking and look at Miss X. Miss X crosses in front of Miss B and Mr C, goes to the nearby shelves in the room and picks up a file, crosses back in front of Miss B and Mr C and exits the room. *without looking at either Miss B and Mr C*
Miss B and Mr C: *speechless for about ten seconds*
Miss B: Kenapa ek Miss X lalu tak tegur or pandang kita pun?
Mr C: Ha-ah. Yelah. What's up with her?
Miss B: Entah.. Dah berapa hari dah macam nie. Maybe we should have said something to her first.
Mr C: *shrugs shoulders*
Scenario 3:
Miss B sees Miss X walking towards her down the hallway. Miss B needs to pass Miss X to enter her room. Suddenly, Miss B sees Miss X stopping by the coffee table just before Miss B's room to look at an ancient magazine. Miss X is about 2 meters away. Miss B stops to unlock her door.
Miss B: Morning, Miss X.
Miss X: *mumbles something and does not look up from the magazine*
Miss B enters her room. Only then does Miss X walks past. Miss B walks out to look at the magazine Miss X was looking at. It was a 2005 edition of the organisation's newsletter.
What the..??
I think Miss X has a problem. A serious one. She has stopped talking to Miss B and all subordinates under Miss Y. She absolutely refuses to acknowledge Miss Y or any of Miss Y's subordinates. No direct eye contact. No usual cheery greetings. No smiles. No contact of any kind unless absolutely necessary. And even then, with the utmost curtness.
Miss Y, Miss B and colleagues are all baffled. They've been cracking their heads trying to think of why she is treating them in such a rude and uncivilised manner. But cannot find an answer. And why does it only involve Miss Y and her sub-unit officers? Why are the others in the same unit treated more cordially?
Miss B suggests to ask Miss X directly about it. Miss Y says to wait. Let's see how long Miss X will prolong the situation. Sampai bila dia tak nak bercakap atau bersua muka dengan mereka.
Seriously, Miss X. You are of managerial position. If you have a problem with your peer and subordinates, is that the way to go about solving the issue? What kind of supervisor does that make you? Do you realise that you still need to work with these people on a long-term basis?
Okay, it is one thing not to talk to Miss B, but did you have to treat Mr C in the same manner just because you have a problem with Miss B? Kesian Mr C. Tak semena-mena kena tempias. Aiyohh.. So unprofessional. And so juvenile!
Grow up, woman. You're already 40. Almost 41. Act your age. Act as befits your job designation and status. Just because you're more superior in status and age, you can treat people as if they have no feelings? For goodness sake's woman, these people like and respect you! And you're making them throw it all down the drain with your present attitude.
You think you're the only one who has temperaments? You haven't seen Miss Y's temperaments yet! Miss Y is a really nice person, but don't be fooled. She can be the devil if she chooses to be so. But she always chooses not to. See the difference? Miss Y CHOOSES not to.
Don't let Miss Y show her temperaments to you. You won't like it. You'll likely regret it. Trust me. I've seen the brunt of it.
Please grow up.

I want to say something, but I reserve my comments..;-) sabar jela yer..
Susah jugak when you work in a department where 80% of the staff is female and 60% of the females dah boleh masuk dalam cateogry "old maid", including myself. Sume emo tak tentu pasal. Memang kena banyak bersabar. Thanks, bro.
