I'm disappointed. What a blow.
One of my all-time favourite football player will not be able to participate in the WC2010. Sedeyy sangat, uolsz.
Deutschland's captain, Michael Ballack.
He sustained an ankle injury prior to South Africa and will thus, not be joining the team. Joachim Löw has taken him off the team permanently, so there's no point in wishful thinking.
However, there is a rising star in the team. And I think I'm in love with him.
Germany's attacking 22-year-old midfielder, Mesut Özil.
He's a beauty to watch on the field. And I don't mean the way he looks physically. I'm talking about his play. This young fella has lotsa potential. If all goes well, he can go a long way.
He played a great, great game in the match against Australia last night. In the first game of the first stage round of matches, the Germans knackered the Aussies 4-0. Supermodelsz, uolsz. I hope Özil keeps up the good form and helps the team towards the finals.
And of course, we can't forget this gorgeous hunk.
Okay, okay, so maybe he's not THAT gorgeous. But his plays sure are. This guy is a firecracker. He was in the Germany WC2006 team and he's back in action in 2010. Let's see if he can be even better now than he was four years ago.
My beloved Die Mannschaft. You guys will play well this year, right? Bring the trophy back home for us? Pretty please ya.
