At the Botanical Gardens

The weekend before, the baby boy of the family got married to a Kuantan gal.

That's the baby boy right there. He's not such a baby anymore.

That's him with his Kuantan sweetheart. They finally got married last Saturday, 24th August 2010. Alhamdullillah.

Yesterday we had the Majlis Menyambut Menantu at the Botanical Gardens in Putrajaya. The whole week was busy with preparations. I've never felt so stressed and busy in my entire life. And this is just my brother's wedding. I'm sure it'd be tenfold if it were mine.

It was a lovely garden wedding. The day was bright and sunny and very warm. We had lotsa white orchids.

We also had some white roses. The ones you see here were on the main VIP table.

They finally made it. Kesian pengantin. Their arrival was much delayed due to the very late arrival of some guests of honour.

It was a privilege to have the guests of honour at our reception. I guess the terrible delay couldn't be avoided. Our apologies to the groom, bride, bride's family and guests who waited very long for the wedding couple to arrive.
