Fever??? Not really...
I just wanted to give an update on the midnight show I went to last Saturday. Sleeperzzzz, Sophea, Swiftdance and I had already gotten tickets for the 11.20pm for "Wanted". Tak kisahlar how the reviews were, we just wanted to catch Angelina Jolie.
I was on my way to TC when Swiftdance called and asked me where I was. It was a few minutes past 11.00pm. I though I was late, so I quickly told him that I just passed the Penchala tolls and will be there soon. Rupa-rupanye, dia and Sophea baru jer nak gi pick-up Sleeperzzzz kat rumah dia. Sabau jela. I told them, no worries. I'll just have to wait for them as they had the tickets.
Since they were just about to pick up Sleeperzzzz, I took my own sweet time reaching the cinemas. It helped that there was a massive jam getting into TC. People were also trying to leave TC at just about the same time I reached there. Excellent timing, babe. =P
Found a parking spot in TC quite easily. Made some stops along the way. Just a little bit of sightseeing here and there. Hehehe... And I still managed to find time to get us some popcorn and drinks. All in all, that took me about 30 minutes, and they still hadn't reached TC yet.
I think it was my first time ever entering a cinema this late. Lambat ~20 minutes, uolsz! I apologised profusely to the people who were sitting in our aisle as our seats were right in the middle and the movie had already started. We had to bear the dirty looks but I'm not complaining. It was an interesting experience. And besides, who told us to be late? Actually, who told Sleeperzzzz, Sophea and Swiftdance to be late??? Hehehe...
Ok, the storyline was kinda predictable. But who cares??? I still got to enjoy the movie a lot! There were parts in it that was very funny. Luckily JR was sitting beside me and caught the funny parts. Ada gang nak gelak kuat-kuat, uolsz! It's no fun watching a movie and no one else in the cinema understood the joke. Memang ala-ala gelak sorang-sorang! Malu, uolsz! Tapi kalau dah kelakar sangat, pedulik hapa aku!!! But luckily, JR was there. Dapat gelak besar bersama-sama. Hehehe...
Angelina Jolie - she's THE BABE, man. She looked super scrawny in this movie. And because of that, it kinda made her look older too. But it didn't take away from her fantastic looks. Time mati pun nampak lawa, uolsz!!! Camne tuh??!! But I'm biased. I just LOVE Jolie. What more if it's an action flick. Macho bangat!!! You know, like the feminine kinda macho. I just think she's incredibly beautiful.
However, I think Morgan Freeman's character was a bit underrated for someone of his acting talents. He was great, of course. But the character wasn't.
But James McAvoy... Now, he's something. I think he's a tremendously, super awesome and talented actor!!! He was both a comic and action star in this one (and perhaps with a little bit of drama too). I think it's in Hollywood where you can get actors who can express so many emotions and different aspects of their character's personalities all in one movie. Yes, of course James McAvoy wouldn't be able to get an Oscar based on this performance alone. But seriously, I think this guy has got loadsa talent just waiting to be unearthed. I think he's just waiting for the right movie, with the right script to come along.
It's been a while since I went to the movies. And I'm glad that it wasn't a bad movie. And I don't care what you guys wanna say!!! Hehehe...
The next one will be this coming weekend. I'm gonna catch the new "Hellboy" with Sleeperzzzz, Waterlily and Lady Nien. Can't wait!!!
