And So It Comes To An End

It was the finals last night.

The players as they walked into the pitch.

The officials warming up before the match. Kelakarlah expression muka they allsz.

And the Spaniards won.

So, of course, the Oranje lost.

The winning goal scored into extra time. At the 116th minute. Andres Iniesta. España's hero.

The Spaniards climbing up the stairs to collect their fame and glory.

There must have been a massive party going on back in España.

Poor Sneijder was upset beyond words. Of course, what do you expect when you lose the World Cup? It's only once in every four years. So close, yet so far. It'll be a hard defeat to swallow.

The Golden Ball title went to Diego Forlan of Uruguay.

This is a fella who is not so exceptionally good looking off the field. But on it and in his jersey, adehhh.. Hensem nak mampos. I dunno why. He just looks very different to me on the field and off. Perhaps the hair band thingy makes a lot of difference? Nah.. He's just looks terribly handsome running around the field chasing, dribbling and kicking the ball. Ahahaha..

And of course he looks great with his shirt off. Ngehehehe.. *gelak pompuan gatal*

He was up against nine other great contenders for the title of best player: Andres Iniesta (ESP, 6), Arjen Robben (NED, 11), Asamoah Gyan (GHA, 3), Bastian Schweinsteiger (GER, 7), David Villa (ESP, 7), Lionel Messi (ARG, 10), Mesut Oezil (GER, 8), Wesley Sneijder (NED, 10) and Xavi (ESP, 8). 

I'm glad he won. I thought he was amongst one of the tremendous players in this year's World Cup. He deserves the title.

And the Golden Boot goes to Thomas Muller of Deutschland (5 goals, 3 assists). Yay!!

Iker Casillas received the Golden Glove crown. The girls, even the boys, apparently can go really ga-ga over him. Boleh tahan hensem jugaklah, uolsz.

Tapi kalau nak ikutkan hensem tahap gaban, takde sape leh kalahkan Fabio Cannavaro.
